Welcome to the World Cup 2010 Football season! GO THE SOCCEROOS!

Following last year’s successful partnership we are again proud to be sponsoring the Club in 2010 and in this World Cup year we have massively expanded our Football boot range for you to include the very best on offer from Adidas, Asics & Nike.

Our priority at The Athlete’s Foot is to ensure you are wearing correctly fitted and appropriate footwear for your chosen activity. For football this means assessing previous injuries, considering growth concerns (turnover this letter to read why it’s so important for children to wear good quality shoes that fit properly) and knowing which types of surfaces are being played on. The length and width of the foot must be measured for fitting, as each brand differs slightly and will suit some foot types better than others.

As a past coach with the Capital Football Academy and current committee member of the Capital Football Junior League, store owner Paul Bennett has in-depth knowledge and experience with the game of football and understands the physical and mental demands of the sport. Paul will be at the registration days to help with your footwear choice and chat about football generally!

As part of the sponsorship arrangement, all registered players can join ‘The Athlete’s Foot ClubFit Program’ (our free discount program). It is important to use the ClubFit program when purchasing your football boots with us as it not only entitles you to a 5% discount (available on registration days) but your club will receive a 5% rebate for every purchase as well. These much needed funds will be used by the club to further enhance your facilities.
